I love After Hours Plumbing and Drain Repair. First of all, getting an appointment is super easy and quick. My problem wasn't even an emergency and they came out on a Sunday to assess it (and didn't charge for the assessment). I was then able to get the appointment to fix the problem just two days later. Bruce was so nice on the phone. A real southern gentleman! Art arrived on Tuesday, on time with an apprentice. Both of them explained everything they were going to do and,even though they said it would take 2 hours, they were done in 90 minutes. I had my expansion tank and TMP valve replaced. Both were 18 years old. You can see the old blue tank and corroded valve in the pictures. The new tank is the tan one. Art and his apprentice were courteous and quick and left no mess at all. I would definitely use them again and I highly recommend After Hour Plumbing to anyone with a plumbing problem!

How could I possibly have a review for a company I didn't need to use? Well... we had a huge plumbing issue in our 116 year old house this weekend that took out our kitchen and laundry room. No washing dishes or clothes and extreme difficulty cooking... our situation was desperate. I was so stressed to need to call an after hours plumber, but was referred to this team and was blown away. They were on a different job and asked me to text photos of our situation to see if they could walk us through a fix on our own... and that's exactly what happened. After several back and forth texts we fixed our problem, and when I offered to pay them for their expertise, they said it wasn't necessary. I was taken back by their honesty, their willingness to help, and their encouragement that we might be able to fix the problem ourselves. You don't see this level of integrity often, and if we ever need a plumber again, these guys have our business. Would absolutely recommend. FIVE STARS!

I used Bruce and team over a weekend where the water heater went out in my rental property. My tenants were confounded and couldn't figure out how to get it working again. Bruce spoke with them over the phone and walked them through a few options, attempting to fix the issue so I wouldn't have to pay the $200 weekend service charge. Unfortunately, the problem couldn't be fixed over the phone, and they had to come to the house. Within an hour, they were able to temporarily resolve the issue (though they found that the tank had corroded and recommended I pursue the warranty). Bruce offered to apply a portion of the weekend fee towards my install if I went forward with After Hours Plumbing. We had a few hiccups during scheduling, but Bruce was responsive and owned his portion of our miscommunication. Bruce and crew drained my existing water heater, picked up my new one and installed it all in one day. They were prompt when they did arrive, and my tenants said they were clean and respectful of the space. Regardless of the issues we had with scheduling and some misunderstandings around some of the invoices, Bruce was extremely responsive, kind, patient and accommodating. This isn't a faceless company, this is a company of people who work hard to make your day better -- especially in times of stress (as with any plumbing issue in your home). I would highly recommend After Hours Plumbing for your plumbing needs. They're good people.

Luther and Brandon were life savers! We had a complex issue where a difficult to locate pipe was corroded and leaking very rapidly into our home. While the project was complex they were very kind, persistent, and I felt that for all the work they put into solving our issue we paid a fair price. These folks care about doing honest work and were really great work with. I would definitely trust them for any other plumbing issues that may come in the future!

Bruce was excellent. He was responsive when I called in the later evening, came at the time I requested,
and did a great job fixing our outside faucet pipe that was cracked and leaking into the basem*nt. Very courteous and professional. Highly recommend!

Such a good experience. The job was done in a timely manner. The gentleman who did the work, Author and Ray, were very nice, very professional, and delightful to talk to. They replaced 2 shower valves with minimal damage and walked me though the steps so I knew exactly what was going on. I definitely would recommend them for your plumbing needs.

I called at 7 am, and my plumbing issue was resolved by 12 pm. Bruce was really clear about my options when he picked up, and Arthur and Ray were very professional when they arrived on time. They took off their shoes without me asking, fixed the clog in the bathroom sink, and answered all my questions. I couldn’t be more pleased. As a bonus - it is a black owned business!

I chose After Hours based on the recommendation of neighbors, and it was a great experience. From making the appointment to the service itself, everything was easy, professional, and responsive. I was able to get an appointment the same day and the team that came out showed up on time and taught me a lot about my sump pump as they were investigating the problem. I would definitely call them again the next time I need help.

We truly can't say enough good things about this business, and about the technician (Arthur) who helped us. We had a kitchen sink/disposal/drain issue and After Hours came same-day, when other outfits were giving us a week's wait. And wow! Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, willing, happy, hard-working, super-nice...you name it -- there really aren't enough complimentary words to use for the service we got! Just absolutely great. Not only did Arthur explain and fix our issue, working every minute, he provided loads and loads of preventative and curative measures for us to use in the future. Just unbelievable! I’m am incredibly impressed with the service, timeliness and friendliness of these guys. I live in a very old house with piping that hasn’t been replaced sense who knows when. When I initially called Bruce I had two leaks. The main one I was concerned about was a leak coming from my main water shut off valve. Bruce let me know that I could most likely fix it myself, saving some money and learning something in the process. He talked me through it over the phone and it worked like a charm! When I got to work on my second problem I was having troubles with the old piping. Just about when I was ready to smash it all apart with a hammer Bruce called to check in on my progress. (No money given or expected at all at this point either) Thank goodness he called. I sent him a picture of what I was dealing with and he was pretty shocked to see the configuration of the old piping. He let me know that one of his guys, Art had 30 years of experience and would be best fit for the job. First thing the next morning Art and Ray are here and hard at work. These guys are unbelievably friendly, efficient and informative. I’m so glad someone gave my wife their number and I will forever use these guys for any plumbing issue I have moving forward. Can’t thank you guys enough!

I had an active leak in the drain pipe coming from a tub. Arthur and Ray were on time, professional, and efficient. I was expecting there to be more than just the visual leak as this is an older home, and Arthur & Ray looked at another corroded pipe point on the verge of cracking. They were able to repair both issues and also assisted with a gas leak in my mechanical room. They walked me through each step of the process and asked permission before doing any work not specified in the original visit reason. I thought the service was excellent and am happy with the result.

Bruce is amazing! We had an emergency where all the house water was backing up into our basem*nt living areas through the drains. I called Bruce on a friends recommendation and I do not regret it! He stayed in communication with me as schedules changed with his people and service times and cleaned out our lines with ease. We've used After Hours Plumbing & Drainage Services a couple times in the last few months -- once for a busted garbage disposal and another time for a frozen pipe -- and each time, Arthur was on time, knowledgeable, efficient and kind. We will definitely continue to use this service in the future.

Over the winter some how one of my outside pipes cracked. Bruce and Ray came and fixed my line and were beyond kind. They know how much I'm overwhelmed in my life right now and not only took care of the job but were. So kind and understanding.

we had our mainline scoped to see if there was a leak. there wasn't. but the serviceman came an hour early, which helped a lot. the job came in within a dollar of the estimate and we got results that day because nothing else needed to be done. I am very satisfied.

I called on a Sunday morning to have someone look at the leak coming from under my dishwasher that eventually made its way to my basem*nt. I spoke with Bruce to schedule the appointment and he was as kind as could be. Art came out that afternoon and thoroughly explained where the leak was coming from and what needed to be done to fix it. He attempted to unclog the drain in my laundry room from all the leaking water but was unable to due to it being an OLD house and having a blockage in the way. Regardless, he was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough.

Bruce was absolutely amazing! He was very responsive and professional when fixing our shower head. He stayed to finish the job until almost 1030 pm; even though I feel most plumbers would have said that they needed to come back in the morning. Also, so personable, respectful, and cordial with everyone in my house, including my daughters. He had us all laughing by the end of the night; despite how late it was! We would definitely recommend Bruce and his team and will definitely be calling again if something else needs to be fixed!

The pressure reducing valve started leaking late Friday afternoon. I did a search on line for plumbers and noticed the outstanding reviews for After Hours. I called and spoke with Bruce. Sent a picture to him showing the valve and connection. Within a few minutes he sent a text with a price range assuring me it would be within the range. Art D. responded to my home and was here for two and a half hours - leaving at 7:30PM. Art D. was fantastic. Did an excellent job and left the work area cleaner than when he arrived. I spent the entire time with Art and learned a lot about plumbing. I can't say enough concerning the service and price I received from After Hours. Would I recommend After Hours? ABSOLUTELY!!! And by the way, ask for Art D. You won't be disappointed.

On the expensive side but came out on very cold Sunday to clean drain that was clogged backing up into house. Andrew I think his name was, very Friendly and helpful

Bruce was an excellent choice and I’d recommend After Hours to just about anyone. We had a tricky sewage backup issue to resolve. Bruce not only performed the task at hand, but did so within hours of calling and readily advised on our issues. He also spoke honestly about his services and discussed the prices of his competitors openly.

I called a lot of plumbers before I was referred to Bruce. Just talking to him on the phone made me want to hire him. His rates were fair and he seemed genuine and friendly and of course competent. I had originally just hired him to reinstall a faucet and garbage disposal after my sink was replaced. Unfortunately the people who installed the sink dropped the old one smashing a key pipe, so now I needed him to fix the damage. He gave us a price then immediately discounted it knowing it was a hardship for the other company to pay. He was already running hours behind and not only installed the faucet and disposal he came back the same night with parts to fix the drain. Bruce also walked me through how to repair some valves myself to help save some additional costs, trust me I was texting him like crazy and he never not helped. Bruce is my forever plumber at this point he is a good stand up person who just wants to help. I highly recommend you hire him if you need this kind of work.

Bruce was amazing. While we were an hour and a half away from our townhouse, we were informed the pipes had frozen and had burst. We got in touch with Bruce at After Hours Plumbing and he was super responsive. He immediately got on the phone with me and then met me at the property within the hour. He was incredibly friendly as we hunted down not one but three pipe bursts in the ceiling. While he worked to fix the problems, he also contacted some great property restoration guys and got them moving ASAP. He definitely didn't have to do that but he was happy to go above and beyond to help me! He worked with me on price and gave me a very fair total given how fast he got there and fixed THREE pipe breaks on a Saturday. Thank you SOO much and I will be working with Bruce for whatever my future plumbing needs are!

Bruce came out after 10 pm on a Friday night of Memorial Day and saved us! We had a leak at our water main shutoff. Rather than go for a full repair of that valve, he offered a simple solution that stopped the leak. Bruce was friendly and helpful.

WOW -- great service, quick response and very professional. We had a main sewer line back up on a Sunday and found out quickly that NO plumbers work on Sunday(we tried no less than 15 different plumbers). After Hours Plumbing was able to get here in an hour and fixed the issue quickly. Arthur was our technician and he was AWESOME, friendly and knowledgeable! Bruce was awesome! My pilot light was out on my hot water heater and Bruce walked me through the steps to get it lit myself. Unfortunately, I didn't follow directions well. LOL Bruce wasn't far away, stopped by and helped me get the pilot lit. It took him about five minutes and he showed me how to do it in the next time. He didn't even charge me. What a great guy! After 9pm Memorial Day,and a drip from an outside faucet, and one problem leads to another until water in house needs to be turned off.
My daughter found this plumbing service and problems repaired and replaced! Bruce was kind, cleaned up and rate was very fair. And we had water before midnight! We highly recommend Bruce and After Hours Plumbing Co.

When I was shopping around for plumbers for a handful of items identified during a home inspection, I was sold on Bruce right away because I appreciated his no nonsense, straight-talking approach to doing business. We discovered our leak in the crawl space at 10:00 on Friday night. Turned off our water to the house, got our towels and buckets out. My husband called early Saturday morning and Robert was here at 9:30. He cut into couple places in the drywall and found our leak very quickly. Fixed it right up. Was very friendly, very clean work, and we were very pleased with him. He will be our go to plumber when we need something!! My husband already has a couple things he wants to do in the next few months… and we will be calling asking for Robert.
It’s hard to find someone that you can feel comfortable with and trust and we were very pleased with todays service.

Bruce was absolutely awesome, came out for a company as a third party technician on a Saturday morning just to help me out during an emergency plumbing situation. He’s was very personable who was fair, honest, and professional. He was polite and asked to hear the weird noise over the phone so he can figure out what might be wrong before he came. He even stopped by to grab the part he thinks we might need before coming to my house. He tried to fix the issue without needing to install a new pressure valve. In the end, we both agreed we definitely needed a new valve and I felt comfortable with the choice. He included me in the process and explained the problem very well. After Hours Plumbing was fantastic! Our mainline backed up on a snowy Sunday night around 9:00pm. They were quick to answer their phone and had someone to our house within an hour and a half. We called Bruce the night we discovered that our garbage disposal was leaking and our cabinet was soaking wet. He was able to come out the next day and replace the disposal. We also asked if we could get the disposal moved to the other side of the double sink since the side it was on was the smaller sink. He said it could be done, gave us a fair price and did it that very day. He and the guys helping him were very professional and got the job done in an efficient manner. We will definitely call them again if we have future plumbing needs.

Mr. Bruce Thomas came himself and did the repairs. It was fast efficient and error free. The water had to be turned off until he came to our home. When he walked in, he first off got the water turned on in the house by capping the pipes and finished the repairs the next day in no time flat. Great job handles look great my shower is working perfectly and he was a nice professional man.

We had an issue with a leak in our outdoor faucet which, of course, happened on this Labor Day weekend - but, he and his wife came and fixed the problem - promptly, courteously and were very professional. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

Bruce answered my call at 10:30 PM and he had Arthur at my house the next day at 10 am. Arthur is a miracle worker! He was able to successfully unclog the large amounts of rice that I poured down my kitchen sink by accessing the line on the roof with a snake. He was also extremely personable and he provided useful info about how the pipes in my renovated kitchen are situated.
