The bride is the daughter of Louise and Michael Shulman of Commack, NY. She is the granddaughter of the late Louise and John Raguso and the late Teresa and Irving Shulman, both of Brooklyn, NY. The bridegroom is the son of Stacie and Armand Derousseau of Grapevine, Texas. He is the grandson of Harold J. George Jr.

and Sharon George, and Marie Derousseau and the late Alphonse Derousseau, all of Clyde, Kan. The bride was escorted down the aisle by both her mother and father to Rainbow She wore a strapless Guipure lace gown with sweetheart neckline, designed by Theia, New York. A 1920s-inspired sash with bugle beads, rhinestones and seed beads from J. Crew was tied at the waistline. For the ceremony, she wore her sheer veil as her Laurie carried an earthy bouquet of amnesia roses, deep purple lisianthus, silver brunia, white ranunculus, splashes of green tea roses, scabiosa pods, burgundy scabiosa and eucalyptus seeds.

Flowers were wrapped in antique wire and her late charm bracelet with exposed stems. The matron of honor was Shayla Derousseau Buttell, the sister. Bridesmaids were Kanan Bhatt-Shah, Gina DeNezzo and Hayley Mines. Flower girls were Alessandra and Lianna Avella, the cousins, and Alivia Durall, the cousin. The greeter was Kelsey Groomer, the soon-to-be sister-in- law.

The best men were Taylor Derousseau and Ty Derousseau, the brothers. Groomsmen were David Shulman, the brother, and Kiran Talluri. The ring bearers were Michael Fricke, the cousin, and Wookie, the dog. Ushers were Bryan Bentley and Jerid Buttell, the brother-in-law. The bride is a graduate of Commack High School and Boston University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations.

She is currently an Account Director of Digital Communications at Kaplow PR. The dress revealed a timeless elegance by featuring a lace V- neckline, cap sleeves, an illusion lace back with satin buttons, a flattering A-line silhouette, and chapel train.
