Party on, Pat: Super Bowl watch parties and deals in Kansas City (2024)

Swoon Cookie Crafters

For those not making the trip to Las Vegas for the big game on February 11, Kansas City is the next best option.

We gathered up the best deals, watch parties, and delicious festivities to help you plan ahead whether your style is more house-party or party-party. Kickoff is at 5:30 p.m. CST. Cheers to the fanatics, the Swifties, and even those just in it for the commercials!

Wholly a good idea

Wholly Guacamole: Exclusive to Kansas City and San Francisco, Wholly Guacamole is giving 250 lucky fans a chance to score with free pizza and guacamole deliveries.

Jefferson’s: At Jefferson’s and Wingstand by Jefferson’s, it could be your lucky week! If you happen to share initials with two Chief stars and a certain famous fan, (PM, TK, and TS) you can get a free serving of wings. This promotion runs from February 5 – 11 for dine-in only, and your ID has to match your initial claim. Stop by the Mission, North KC, and Lenexa locations for this special.

Bodyarmor: Win or lose, Monday morning will be rough for many Kansas Citians. Bodyarmor is popping up at four locations to pass out 50,000 bottles of Bodyarmor Flash IV. Find them at Union Station, Crown Center, Power & Light District, and Country Club Plaza for some free hydration starting at 8 a.m.

The place(s) to be

Gaels Public House & Sports: A few spots remain at Gaels for the big game. A $110 ticket in advance gets you guaranteed seating for up to five people, 12 wings, two pizzas, and a commemorative Chiefs bottle of champagne.

KC Live! Block: A big crowd, mega-screens, electric energy… this may be the closest experience to attending the Super Bowl that a fan can get in KC. The Power and Light district is hosting an all-day watch party event complete with DJs, giveaways, and more. Gates open at 11 a.m., and tickets start at $20.

DoubleTap KC: The VR arcade and bar in River Market is hosting a pre-game tailgate and a gametime watch party. Two opportunities to join in the fun. Reservations are recommended and there is a special price for groups of six or more. Starting at $200, packages include seating for up to 6 or 8 people, two pitchers of beer, and two dozen smoked wings.

Char Bar: The new Parkville location of Char Bar has tables available for watching the game. Starting at $50 for a table for two, this reservation will save you a spot and whet your appetite with hushpuppies & loaded jo-jos. If you need to dissipate some nervous energy, book some time on the pickleball courts beforehand!

Block 15 Tavern & Exchange: Also in River Market, Block 15 Tavern is hosting a watch party with a special chance to try a new restaurant before it opens this spring. Table reservations start at $250 for five people and include a tasting buffet to preview MuNi’s menu. MuNi is the restaurant spearheaded by Buck Tui’s Teddy Liberda that is taking over the former Tribe Street Kitchen space in River Market. Call Block 15 Tavern at (816)437-8873 or stop by to reserve your table.

Cinder Block Brewery: In North KC, Cinder Block Brewery is foregoing the reservation fees and hosting their watch party first-come first-served style. F325 BBQ will be popping up to serve a special tailgating menu at 4 p.m., and Cinder Block will have beer specials during the game.

XR: Inside the stunning Crossroads Hotel, XR will be all about Red Kingdom from noon to close on Sunday. Special for this Tailgaiting Takeover, Chef Aaron Wells-Morgan has created a signature pizza called The Big Yeti, topped with mac and cheese, buffalo chicken, blue cheese, and pickled carrot. Expect specialty co*cktails, wings, and even a celebration goodie for each touchdown scored by the Chiefs. No reservations are required.

Easy peasy pickup

Local bakeries: There is no shortage of clever and cute baked goods celebrating Kansas City’s team. Dolce Bakery in Prairie Village has a large selection of cookies, cakes, and cupcakes that sport red and gold, TSwift, and even Jason Kelce motifs. Preordering is recommended to ensure you receive the design you have your eye on. Swoon Cookie Crafters in Columbus Park has a detailed Las Vegas-themed cookie set for preorder and pickup. Emily Kate’s Bakery has your gluten-free goodies on lock. McLain’s Bakery & Market has festive baked goods in a variety of neighborhoods, including Waldo, Shawnee, Stanley, Lawrence, and Overland Park. McLain’s Super Bowl preorder menu features themed sandwich packs, cheesecakes, cakes, cookies, and much more. Last but not least, Sugarfold has detailed Chiefs-inspired macarons available for preorder. Pickup will be in the Shawnee area this Friday or Saturday.

Zero Zero Pasta: Westside’s Zero Zero Pasta is offering special take-and-bake pasta dishes. Super Bowl Lasagna ($32) and Mac & Cheese ($28) can be preordered now through Thursday, February 8. Preorders can be picked up on the big day between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. If there is any available, I highly recommend picking up some of the fresh focaccia as well.

Atomic Cowboy: Now through Sunday, Atomic Cowboy is offering Ultimate Super Bowl Tailgate Kits for delivery and carry-out. A few deals are available but I say go big and select the “Excessive Celebration” for $116.95 which includes three 26″ (aka giant) pizzas, loaded garlic knots, two orders of wings, and dessert knots.

Servaes Brewing: Ahead of the big game (kicking off at 5:30CST) Servaes in Shawnee is releasing red kingdom-inspired brews. Two red-inspired and two yellow-inspired beers will be on tap and in a 4-pack of crowlers to-go for $45. Pop in between 11 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Sunday to snag these. The “Running Angry” and “El Travador” have my attention.

Scott’s Kitchen & Catering: Scott’s Kitchen has a customizable BBQ package starting at just $50. Plus, all orders picked up this Sunday will receive a $20 gift certificate to use on a future purchase! The $50 preorder deal includes 1 Rack of Ribs, 6 Jumbo Wings, 2 pints of sides, blue cheese dressing, celery sticks, and choice of wing sauce. Preorders must be placed by 3 p.m. this Wednesday.

A doorbell ring you won’t ignore

Shatto Milk Company: Red is the color of victory. And… milk? Shatto Milk Company has brought back their popular red velvet milk in honor of the Kansas City Chiefs AFC Championship win and their fourth trip to the Super Bowl in five years. The special edition milk is available now in all stores carrying Shatto Milk, through Shatto Home Delivery, and at the farm store in Osborn, MO. In addition to the red milk release, specialty apparel including “Mahomes Dairy Cow” is available for purchase at the farm store in Osborn, MO and via Shatto Home Delivery.

Saul’s Beef: Saul’s Beef pop-up will deliver Italian Beef Sandwiches to your door on Super Bowl Sunday. With a ten-person minimum order, the delivery will include beef, jus, Turano rolls, giardiniera, and sweet peppers.

Waldo Pizza: If you’re in the Waldo Pizza delivery radius, here’s a tip to save some moola. Preorders placed before Sunday can enjoy a discount. Sometime between now and Saturday evening, call 816-363-5242 to place a preorder for pizza to be delivered Sunday afternoon/evening and save 20%.

Fiorella’s Jack Stack Barbeque: Watching the game in Kansas, Missouri, or… Texas? Celebrate with KC BBQ no matter where you are. Jack Stack ships to all fifty states. Enjoy free shipping on one or both of their special edition SuperBULL packs with code GAMEDAY24 when you order by February 6 at 12:30 p.m. CST.
