It appears Piers Morgan hasn't let the past go - even if he denies it.

The 59-year-old former Good Morning Britain host took to X, formally Twitter, on Sunday to share his true feelings on the Reform UK leader Nigel Farage after he was accused of "holding a grudge".

Piers' jibe came off the back of a success for the former UKIP leader, when he celebrated a milestone in his ongoing campaign to become the next Prime Minister.

Over the weekend, Nigel, 60, tweeted: "Reform UK now has 50,000 members. Something is happening out there..." referring to the number of people who have signed up to become a Reform UK member for £25 per annum.

One supporter @SamTBaron replied to his celebratory tweet by pointing out: "Reform membership has doubled since Farage took over. Piers needs to stop holding a grudge over Farage if he really wants to stop labour."

And it certainly didn't take long for Piers himself to set the record straight.

"I don’t have a grudge against him, I just discovered he’s a treacherous little snake when he tried to sabotage my last Trump interview," Piers clapped back.

Despite the Uncensored host firmly denying that he has any hard feelings towards the politician, fans weren't buying it.

One user @SamCKx replied: "In fairness, Piers, that’s the exact definition of a grudge," as @realmaxwright echoed: "So you do have a little grudge…."

And @1962Marston asked: "But that IS a grudge? He did something that annoyed you so you don't like him?" while @vonFritz900508 pointed out: "Literally just provided an example of a grudge…"

This wouldn't be the first time Piers has accused Nigel of "sabotaging" his interview with the former US president.

Appearing on Times Radio to promote his then-new talk show Piers Morgan Uncensored in 2022, the former Britain's Got Talent judge said Nige presented Donald with a list of all the negative things he had said about him.

Detailing the events of the interview, Piers recalled: "Eight minutes before we start I got a visitation from Trump's people... The president's just been sent this three-page document of things you've said about him in the last year."

According to Piers, Nigel had met up with the controversial businessman just "three days before" the interview.

He said that Nigel's dossier created a "fractious atmosphere" for his interview, which ultimately ended with Donald storming off after he was questioned about losing the 2020 election.
