Ingredients For Making Red Velvet Brownies
- 1 box of red velvet cake mix – dry, unprepared
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 cup butter
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 cups powdered Sugar
- Mini brown or white chocolate chips
- 1 cup cream cheese – softened
- 1/2 cup raspberry preserves – or jam
- 1 1/4 Tsp Vanilla extract
Directions To Make Red Velvet Brownies
- Mix one box of red velvet cake mix, 1/2 cup melted butter, 1 egg, 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup sour cream, and half a packet of mini chocolate chips in a bowl and stir until smooth.
- Evenly spread the batter onto a baking tray or parchment paper.
- Bake it in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Check the consistency with a toothpick and take them out.
- Prepare the cream cheese frosting in a different bowl while the brownies are coming up hot in the oven.
- Mix 1 cup of softened cream cheese and 1/4 cup of softened butter in a bowl and whisk them together until you attain a creamy texture.
- Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and gradually add 2 cups powdered sugar while stirring constantly. Stop stirring when it is nice and thick and your cream cheese frosting is ready. You refrigerate it until the brownies (5 Minute Brownie) are baked.
- In another bowl, prepare the raspberry glaze by combining 1/2 cup of raspberry preserves or jam, 2 tablespoons of water, and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla in a saucepan and warm all the ingredients on low heat. Later, drizzle some raspberry sauce on it and sprinkle some mini chocolate chips.
