@day_dree @Xfinity @comcast That sucks. The internet provider choices have reduced or ended altogether in last many years. If Comcast has wireless backup connection, please ask for that. They generally have it for business account. We have it for AT&T. Comcast also have this option.

My Xfinity phone at home does not work for past 3 months. Tried support through chat, phone and they just reset the modem and then disappear and will not allow me to move to next step of saying it still did not fix it. Now trying through the Comcast tweet @comcastcares

I’ve spent 3+ hours on the phone with people at Xfinity trying to figure out wtf happened to my hockey channels and nobody can fix it and at this point I don’t know whether to cry, scream, or laugh because life is just throwin me a whole lotta lemons these days 😭

Yo Goonies, unfortunately we got a problem, xfinity has a power outage in my area since like at 12 pm pst and my **** still isn't back on. Most likely there will be a stream most likely way later tonight, I doubt anytime sooner. See yall when I see yall.

@shanselman I showed my kids how to use their phone hotspot if there is any issue with the primary WiFi. Seems to have worked on the one occasion there was a Comcast outage.

@comcastbusiness Hopeless. Posted on FB about a billing issue. 4 different people responding that they would take charge & keep me posted. Every single one gone dark after posting a public reply just to make Comcast look “better”. Doesn’t work that way. Comcast sucks.

@day_dree @Xfinity @comcast Please get wireless backup connection as well. AT&T and Comcast both have this option. We dropped Comcast and switched to AT&T in April. Comcast downtime is pathetic. Every month, at least once we had multiple hours outage.

Hey @comcast @Xfinity @XfinitySupport I have now ordered the XB8 modem 5 times since April and all 5 times I have received an XB7. This is absolutely atrocious customer service. I just don’t understand how you can launch a product and not have the inventory to supply us.

@fredlalas @Xfinity It truly is and she's been pushed around for years - essentially being black listed by the company for her address and stating flat out that they're not going to service unless we go in person. What it do, baby? After 3,000 miles of traveling I can't wait to get this fixed 😎

@JS_72020 Mixed. I moved and had to switch to WOW/RCN to not pay for a new line. Service has been pretty decent with some periods of VERY slow internet and one or two periods of no internet in just the couple months I’ve used them. Didn’t happen near at the same rate as with Comcast.

@plantmath1 A better fit would be Comcast. Live TV + whatever anyone wants to layer on top. Never send a truck again to install a box. Customer can go to Wal-Mart at 2 AM and be a customer an hour later. No technician involved.

@yogurtboy @Xfinity Paul, I take it you work for Comcast or I mean Xfinity as a network engineer? The difference in speed between IPv4 vs IPv6 is very small. Not everyone uses it, & you're paying $3,600 a yr for internet service LOL. You see where I'm going with this?

Sir, I pride myself not only on a strong work ethic but a robust moral compass as well. I can assure you I would never find myself at the employ of a company that throttles connection speeds, and I resent your insinuating Comcast/Xfinity engages in such lecherous behavior.
