@mikeyjr1963 @PR0TUS @MarinSheriff Network outages, even brief, are a big deal, and there are a lot of measures to avoid even small brief ones. People get phone service via the net; Comcast sells it. People work, even at night. Students have homework deadlines—so my daughter noticed first.

FYI: internet service providers like Comcast aren’t under any obligation to restore your service within any period of time and otherwise aren’t required to meet any customer service quality goals. Good luck.

@mikeyjr1963 @PR0TUS @MarinSheriff I'm not going for to dump on Comcast for the outage itself until I learn what happened. But their public handling of it was atrocious. It is really not hard to build an outage map that actually reports problems. Their NIC will have one. They didn't even inform their reps.

@XfinitySupport it is unfair that I can not get xfinity mobile just because I don’t live in an xfinity service area. Why is this a requirement? I mean Verizon’s network is in my area.

@JustPlayHere @XfinityRacing Hmmm. I’ve had pretty good luck with Xfinity’s cable modem routers. The first one I used failed but that was because the cooling fan failed. My current router works great with full MIMO support.

@DGodfatherMoody @amsupdates I would like to see @IndyCar return as I believe this layout is just what is needed. Also Cup appears to be great with this too. Xfinity here needs work, Trucks here are good too. So 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

@dudenamednate Guessing that Westfield is pretty busy with existing opportunities and didn't want to pay Russell to fix up their network. Russell probably would have been better off just trying to give it to Westfield, or even pay them a bit to take it than let Comcast get it.
